NHS at 70 receives award for best PPIE Project
We are delighted to have jointly received the award for 'Best Project' at the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) celebration held by the Faculty of Biology Medicine and Health at The University of Manchester.
This award is dedicated to all our supporters - volunteers, interviewees and partners - across the UK. Your involvement and collaboration is enabling us to create a shared history of the NHS that is inclusive and represents the diverse communities of patients, staff and public across the UK.
Members of the team, alongside volunteers from the North West region attended the event - which also included opportunities to discover Thai Chi and singing as ways to improve wellbeing.
NHS at 70: The Story Of Our Lives is a national programme of work supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and led by The University of Manchester.
We are recording stories from people across the UK who worked and were cared for by the NHS since its creation in 1948 until June 2020.
